Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Resource Guide (Centre for Learning & Teaching)

Discourse is an international, fully peer-reviewed journal publishing contemporary research and theorising in the cultural politics of education. The journal publishes academic articles from throughout the world which contribute to contemporary debates on the new social, cultural and political configurations that now mark education as a highly contested but important cultural site.

The Journal of Moral Education (a Charitable Company Limited by Guarantee) provides a unique interdisciplinary forum for the discussion and analysis of moral education and development throughout the lifespan.

Particular areas of interest include: the foundation, scope, function and direction of philosophy; the relevance of philosophy to social and political action; issues in the teaching of philosophy.

Studies in Philosophy and Education is an international peer-reviewed journal that focuses on philosophical, theoretical, normative and conceptual problems and issues in educational research, policy and practice.

Teaching Philosophy is a peer-reviewed journal devoted to the practical and theoretical discussion of teaching and learning philosophy. It publishes articles and case studies on theoretical issues, classroom strategies, experimental courses, student counseling, and teaching and learning assessment. Note: Dalhousie does not have a subscription to this journal, so access is limited to free content
