Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Resource Guide (Centre for Learning & Teaching)

Advances in Health Sciences Education is a forum for scholarly and state-of-the art research into all aspects of health sciences education. It will publish empirical studies as well as discussions of theoretical issues and practical implications. The primary focus of the Journal is linking theory to practice, thus priority will be given to papers that have a sound theoretical basis and strong methodology.

The mission of the AJHE is to publish research manuscripts that focus on Health Education and Health Promotion interventions designed to prevent or delay the onset of the major chronic diseases and illnesses that impact populations of interest today (CVD, cancer, diabetes, COPD, cirrhosis, Alzheimer’s/dementia, etc.).

The journal features articles relevant to global audiences and that involve international programs and initiatives in health education and promotion. GJHEP is sponsored by the Foundation for the Advancement of Health Education (FAHE).
