An icon of a computer connected to the Internet.Since anyone can add information to the Internet, it is up to YOU to be a careful and responsible consumer of information when you choose to use information from the Internet. You must be mindful of:

Who is the author of the information?  Is this person qualified and credible?

What is the purpose of the information?   Is it to persuade, to entertain, or to just give you the facts?

What is the coverage of the information?   Is it comprehensive or single-focused?

What is the currency of the information  Is it current and up-to-date?

What is the objectivity of the information?   Is it trying to persuade you or is it bias free?

What is the accuracy of the information?   Is it fact or opinion?
