Featured Service: Academic Detailing

Overseen by Dalhousie's Continuing Professional Development & Medical Education unit, the Academic Detailing service develops relevant to practice evidence summaries through research, analysis and synthesis. Find out more about Dalhousie's service here. Also feel free to visit the website for information on recently detailed topics.

In addition to this, here are other resources that provide academic detailing. Each program (including Dalhousie's):

is government funded to provide free to use services to primary care providers in their respective provinces.
delivers evidence-based, clinically relevant topics, by trained Pharmacists, to Healthcare providers, in the form of educational outreach sessions.
is accredited for continuing education.

Subscription required.
BC Provincial Academic Detailing Service
Ontario's Centre for Effective Practice
Academic detailing service is limited to practitioners in Ontario. However, other providers can make use of CEP's clinical tools and resources for primary care.

Dal Med Links

My.Dal (Dal e-mail)
Use your NetID and password to check your Dal e-mail. If you don't plan on checking your webmail, please add it to your computer's mail program (Outlook, Mac Mail) or have your Dal mail forwarded to an address you use.
BrightSpace Log In
Case and content materials located here - lectures, tutor materials. Use Net ID and password (same as Dal e-mail).
One45 Log In
Assessments are located here (student and case). Use your One45 username and password. Can change to the same as your Dal NetID and password under "personal information." Don't forget to update your One45 password when you change your Dal password.
Dal Medix Log In
Use your Net ID and password (same as Dal e-mail).
Dal Online
Employee info. Change your My.Dal (e-mail) password, update your address, print your tax forms. Use BOO and PIN to log in. Must create PIN for first use - make sure you have your Dal e-mail set up first as temp PIN goes there.
NetID and Password Help (Dal)
Look up and/or activate your NetID. Reset or change your password.
