Complete modules or attend online sessions in the 2025-2026 Dalhousie Libraries Research Camp to earn Certificates of completion!

How do I earn Certificates of completion? Participants earn a Badge for each module or session they complete or attend. Badges accumulate toward Certificates of completion, which are automatically generated in Brightspace when you complete the required modules. 

Research Camp certificates of completion for 2025-2026

The following modules must be completed to earn the Core Skills certificate of completion:

  • Library research 101 (module)
  • Researching for the literature review (live session or recording)
  • Writing the literature review (live session or recording)
  • Writing grant proposals (live session or recording)
  • Managing big writing projects (live session or recording)
  • Using source material in writing (live session or recording)
  • Citation management with Zotero (live session or recording)
  • Copyright: Your rights & responsibilities as a user (live session or module)

The following modules must be completed to earn the Short Program certificate of completion:

  • Library research 101 (module)
  • Researching for the literature review (live session or recording)
  • Writing the literature review (live session or recording)
  • Writing grant proposals (live session or recording)
  • Managing big writing projects (live session or recording)
  • Using source material in writing (live session or recording)
  • Introduction to citation management (live session or recording)
