Julie Marcoux is a Data Librarian and a Subject Librarian for Computer Science based at the Killam Memorial Library.
She enjoys helping students, faculty, and researchers navigate the confusing world of data and datasets. She is especially proud of her series of Excel workshops in which she covers everything from the basics of using Excel to work with secondary sources of data to how to modify macro code in Visual Basic to automate Excel tasks.
A favorite project involved programming a 'choose your own adventure' like video game in which players use Boolean Operators to survive a zombie apocalypse.
