Public transport captures passenger travel along roads, busses, trains, planes, and more. The use of public transit is the result of collaboration between government, city planners, civil engineers, and other key stakeholders in the transportation sector. The multi-faceted world of public transit requires cross-disciplinary collaboration across many fields. Accordingly, the resources in this section feature diverse perspectives from policy, planning, history, economics, etc.
In each section, you will find:
Journals: Periodical publications on a wide array of transit and transportation topics.
Key databases: Searchable collections of journals, articles, reviews, datasets, maps and more.
Suggested readings: Reference books on transportation broadly, as well as books on transit history, policy, and planning.
