Resources for writing book reviews

Getting started with research

Your Self Reflective Exercise assignment requires you to include at least 3 references. These sources might be books or scholarly journal articles.

Search the online catalogue to find books on your topic.

Start by looking for articles in the Social Work databases.

Not finding much? Check in a multidisciplinary database:

Google Scholar Search

Don't stop there! There are plenty of other places to look for journal articles on your topic. Check out the Databases tab of the Social Work Research Guide.

Never searched a database before? These videos will walk you through the process.
