New! GIS Support at the Sexton Library

The Sexton Library is hosting a GIS Service pilot during the Winter 2019 term (Jan. 9th - Apr. 3rd, 2019). 

The Dalhousie Libraries’ GIS Analyst Jennifer Strang will be available to provide access to GIS support to both students and faculty members who require assistance with GIS questions.

Where: Reference and Research Desk, located in the Sexton Library lobby

When: Wednesday afternoons from 1:00pm - 4:00pm

GIS, or geographic information systems, use specialized software to map data spatially. If you’re unfamiliar with GIS, drop by the library on Wednesday afternoons to learn more about it!
