Research Impact

ResearcherID is an author profile generated from Web of Science data and connected to that platform. While Dalhousie Libraries no longer subscribe to Web of Science, it is still possible for authors to register for a ResearcherID profile.

Profiles are viewable to anyone, there is no subscription required. For that reason, potential employers, collaborators, or peer reviewers may search for your profile, so it's not a bad idea to register for and claim your profile. 

You may already have a ResearcherID if you've have previous access to Web of Science, Publons, or Clarivate products, in which case you can just sign in.

To register for a free ResearcherID, you must hit the "Register Tab" above the text boxes on the Clarivate Web of Science homepage:https://access.clarivate.com/register?app=wos

You can view and then edit your profile, including adding content. Content will be automatically entered from Web of Science.  If you have an ORCiD profile with content in it, you can link the accounts and import content from ORCiD.
