Citing help in some databases

Some interfaces and databases allow you help creating citations in a particular format.  These tools are designed to make citing easier. Remember to always manually check the citation for any errors.

To export a citation in Novanet Primo, click on a record in the search results.

Once you have selected a record, the cite/export features will appear below the title and publication information.

In CINAHL or PsychInfo, search for your topic and then select an article.  Use the Cite or Export feature to obtain the citation for the article.  Citeallows you to copy and paste a citation into another document, while Exportallows you to Export the citation into a Reference Manager

These export methods should also allow you to export to reference managers such as RefWorks.

SFX provides a direct export link to RefWorks within their interface.
