Anthropology & Education Quarterly is a peer-reviewed journal that draws on anthropological theories and methods to examine educational processes in and out of schools, in US and international contexts. Articles rely primarily on ethnographic research to address immediate problems of practice as well as broad theoretical questions.
Ethnography and Education is an international, peer-reviewed journal publishing articles that illuminate educational practices through empirical methodologies, which prioritise the experiences and perspectives of those involved. The journal is open to a wide range of ethnographic research that emanates from the perspectives of sociology, linguistics, history, psychology and general educational studies as well as anthropology. The journal’s priority is to support ethnographic research that involves long-term engagement with those studied in order to understand their cultures, uses multiple methods of generating data, and recognises the centrality of the researcher in the research process.
Teaching Anthropology (TA) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to the teaching of anthropology. A journal of the Royal Anthropological Institute, TA promotes dialogue and reflection about anthropological pedagogies in schools, colleges and universities. Teaching sharpens our research questions and pushes forward disciplinary knowledge. It also opens possibilities for personal and professional transformation. Bringing together anthropological and educational ideas, the journal fosters a critical engagement with teaching practices and their role in developing our anthropological capacities. We also aim to stimulate scholarly discussions about the relationship between pedagogy and its social, institutional and political contexts.
Teaching Sociology publishes articles, notes, and reviews intended to be helpful to the discipline’s teachers. Articles range from experimental studies of teaching and learning to broad, synthetic essays on pedagogically important issues. The general intent is to share theoretically stimulating and practically useful information and advice with teachers.

Sociology of sociology: How the discipline is being taught today

The aim of the network is to stimulate discussion and exchange of ideas about teaching anthropology across Europe. We do this through arranging conferences, workshops, publications etc. around teaching and learning anthropology.
