Your NetID gives you access to Dal Online, MyDal, Microsoft 365 Email, Brightspace, computer labs, electronic library material off-campus, and many other services.
Your NetID is usually 2 letters from your name, followed by 6 numbers. Example: xy999999
One of the first things you should do is to activate your NetID.
The NetID & Password webpage is the place to go to:
- Activate or lookup your NetID. Activating your NetID is a one-time process and only takes a few minutes.
- Reset/Change your Password
- Update your MFA (multi-factor authentication) options
- Update your account recovery email
