Use the above link to access the DynaMed home page. Click the icon with the person inside a circle on the top right corner and then click ‘SIGN IN’, DynaMed will then walk you through the account creation process. Then, download the app from your device's app store, and log in using your newly created account.

To get the mobile app, you must register with VisualDX (see "Get the Mobile App" on the main VisualDx page). You can then create a personal account. Visit your device's app store to download VisualDx, then log in with your newly created account.

This free iPad app is available for download through the iTunes store. Users get free access to monthly abridged editions of Cochrane Systematic Reviews. There is additional multimedia content, like podcasts, videos, and slides. You can also create your own reading lists.

To register, click the link above. You will have to enter your NetID and password. Once you have logged in you will be able to see our organization code and registration instructions. Once you have registered, you can go to the Apple/Google Play App Store from your smartphone/tablet and search for CPS by CPhA. Once installed, enter your email address and the password created during registration. This step is only required the first time the app is opened.

The Android framework for CPS's app was built on has been deprecated by Google as of April 2023 and this does impact any users with new phones or an updated Android OS. They are currently working on finding a solution, and will share it with Dalhousie when found.

The BMJ Best Practice companion app is available as part of your BMJ Best Practice access. All users must register for a “personal account” on the BMJ Best Practice website. These login details can then be used to download the app content from the App Store or Google Play.

Go directly to the mobile website. The mobile website is intended primarily for discovery of articles. To access full text, tap on the "Standard PubMed" link at the bottom of the abstract screen. Other tools include: PubMed for Handhelds & PubMed PICO search.

Free personal account required for use. Create an account here from a Dal computer or while logged in for off-campus use, click the "My POL" link from the homepage, and follow the instructions. (Accounts cannot be created or updated from a mobile device.)
