Getting Started

The Archives Catalogue and Online Collections has detailed instructions on how to search the catalogue.

Remember, when you're searching, you'll need to make note of the title and reference code. This information will help Archives staff find the materials you are requesting.

Please note that the majority of our holdings are not catalogued.  We are constantly working to add more information to the archives catalogue.  If your searches don't bring up results, you may need to browse the catalogue or contact our reference desk. You can also search in MemoryNS, a catalogue of archival collections preserved by institutions across Nova Scotia.
