Accessing Dalhousie Libraries Collections

The W. K. Kellogg Health Sciences Library, a part of the Dalhousie University Libraries system, has a long-standing mandate to serve registered health professionals in the Atlantic Provinces. Health professionals can access collections via our Document Delivery Services or by coming on-site to access print and electronic resources.

Electronic resources can be accessed on campus via library workstations provided that do not require a login. From these stations, those not affiliated with Dalhousie can access our electronic databases, journals and books. Guest Wifi is not available, nor is electronic access from off-campus.

Borrowing print materials from the Kellogg Library, or any Novanet library, is possible for Nova Scotia residents. Apply for an off-campus borrower's card free of charge, or use a card from a Public Library in Nova Scotia. Cards can be obtained via any Novanet library, with two pieces of identification, including one which shows proof of Nova Scotia residence.

Dalhousie libraries extend document delivery privileges to Atlantic Regional Health Professionals who are not Dalhousie faculty, staff or students and who do not have access to local hospital library's interlibrary loan service. For more information see this link to our Document Delivery page.
